About us
The Come and Sing Company create and deliver tailor-made musical workshops and events to help people connect through music.
Our team of Performers, Conductors, Educators, Singers, Instrumentalists, Song-Writers, Producers and Composers are often found working with some of the world’s finest Festivals, Concert Halls, Schools and Universities, Choirs and Orchestras.
Since our formation in 2017, the Come and Sing Company have worked with organisations as diverse as the National Trust, Silver Spoon, Local Government, SEN Schools, Music Education Hubs, a pop-up choir for Asylum Seekers and Refugees, as well as the Theatre Royal – Norwich, Britten Pears Arts (formerly Snape Maltings), and Wexford Mental Health Association.
We led the Massed Ensemble, with 700 school children, at the 2019 Music for Youth Proms in the Royal Albert Hall and had over 200,000 children – from Aberdeen to the Isle of White – singing together as part of ‘Rapunzel – The Lockdown Pantomime’.
We are delighted to work in partnership with a number of Music Education Hubs including those in Norfolk, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.
All of our projects, large or small, share one core value. We believe that when a community makes music together, it is stronger for having done so.
Elenor Bowers-Jolley – Creative Director
Creative Director Ellie is our vocal and special educational needs lead who also thrives in project development work for CASC. If you’ve got an idea, she can make it happen! With over twenty years as a professional soprano and in arts management, Ellie’s skills and experience give CASC access to a wealth of knowledge.
Ellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music (Royal Holloway, University of London), a Masters in Performance Studies (UEA) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Voice with distinction (RWCMD).
Alongside her CASC work, Ellie continues to perform professionally across the globe as a soloist and as a choir member with the likes of The Monteverdi Choir, Wexford Festival Opera, La Nuova Musica and Capilla Cayrasco.
Through her work with the Come and Sing Company Ellie is fulfilling a dream of passing on her passion for music and group singing to others.
